Edinburgh Fringe 2022: Popular pub to open swish summer cocktail bar

An Edinburgh student pub is opening a swish summer cocktail bar on Friday July 29 in their beer garden for the Fringe. The Pear Tree on West Nicolson Street have just launched a competition to celebrate the opening of The Pear Tree Cocktail Bar which will be serving 15 different cocktails.

Located in the heart of the festival between George Square, Bristo Square and the Pleasance the well-loved pub is the perfect spot for some pre show drinks.

The delicious new cocktail menu will be serving a huge range of drinks including peartrini's, frozen daiquiris and margaritas, Aperol spritz, dark and stormy's and many more.

The bar will also have a variety of shots including everyone's favourite baby Guinness, and cocktail fish bowls perfect for sharing. To launch the brand new bar, the Pear Tree are running a competition.

All customers need to do to be in a chance of winning a table for four with two free cocktails per person is to like and share

The student boozer shared the exciting news on their Instagram page writing: "Introducing The Pear Tree Cocktail Bar; serving 15 different cocktails and a variety of shots, there’s something for everyone!

"Opening this Friday! To celebrate the opening we’re running a COMPETITION to win a table for four with two cocktails of choice each."
