Edinburgh drivers have been issued a warning following a multi-vehicle collision on a major road heading into the capital, which took place on Saturday lunchtime.

On July 8, a collision took place on the A720 at Calder. Drivers heading eastbound were warned that the road was partially blocked following the crash.
Drivers have also been warned there are delays of 45 minutes to an hour while police attend the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were made aware of a crash involving two vehicles on the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass near the Calder Junction around 11.20 am on Saturday, 8 July."
They added: "There are no reports of any injuries and the vehicles have been removed from the road.”
