Edinburgh diners were thrilled after Alan Carr dropped into Wagamamas, where he dined alone, at the weekend.
The comedian visited the St Andrew Square branch of the healthy-food chain during his current Scottish tour.
Manager of the branch, Radek Vex , who was working at the time, says the Chatty Man star was approachable and kind - and also offered him free tickets to his Edinburgh show later in the year.
Alan Carr was performing at the Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline, on February 11 after the show was rescheduled from June last year on his Regional Trinket Tour.
The funny man will be visiting the capital on July 8 and 9 at the Playhouse for dates that were also rescheduled due to Covid restrictions last year.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Radek said: "It was at t St Andrew Square, last night. There is a funny story but I can’t tell it.
"He was such a laugh and the same like on TV, he had his show in Dunfermline a few days ago.
"He is coming back in July and he took my phone number and name as he will treat me for a ticket on his show in July in Edinburgh."
The chuffed branch manager was delighted to meet the comedian and later offered free tickets for his show when Alan Carr returns to the capital in July.
