Crowds have gathered in Edinburgh city centre to celebrate the Chinese New Year on Sunday, January 22.

Hundreds of joyful residents came together at the Mound to watch performers, sing songs and celebrate the year of the rabbit.

There was a large red Chinese dragon parading around the square as well as traditional dancers and music.
