Kai Cenat’s name suddenly started trending online on March 8, 2026, after a viral post claimed that the popular streamer had “officially come out as gay.” The claim spread quickly on X and gained millions of views within a day. Many fans were confused and began searching for the supposed Instagram post. However, there is no real evidence that Kai Cenat made such an announcement. The viral screenshot circulating online appears to be fake, and the streamer has not posted anything like that on his official Instagram account.
The rumor started when an X user named @clippedhubb shared a post claiming that Kai Cenat had uploaded a photo with a boyfriend and wrote, “finally found myself during the break 🏳️🌈.” The post spread rapidly and created a lot of discussion among fans. But a closer look shows that the image does not exist anywhere outside that viral post. Reverse image searches also do not show any original source. At the moment, Kai Cenat has not confirmed coming out as gay on Instagram, Twitch, YouTube, or any of his official social media accounts.
