Cops have rushed to the scene of a crash in Edinburgh that saw a Peugeot passenger van thought to be carrying a baby turned onto its side.
Officers rushed to the junction of Dalmeny Street and Easter Road in Edinburgh at around 12.15pm on Saturday May 13. Local residents told Edinburgh Live that they heard a loud smash from inside their homes.
Witnesses say that two adults and a baby in a car seat were removed from the vehicle that had overturned in the course of the collision. A police van could be seen parked at the scene, beside another Peugeot people carrier.
It is not known whether there are any injuries – a Police Scotland spokesperson said it had not been made aware of any at the time of publication. However, an investigation into the crash has been launched this afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.15pm on Saturday 15 May 2023, police received a report of a road crash involving two vehicles on Easter Road at its junction with Dalmeny Road.
"Emergency services are in attendance. There are currently no reports of any injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
