An Edinburgh woman is celebrating her engagement after her partner got down on one knee - at the same bus stop where they first met over five years ago. Hannah first spotted her now-fiancé Dominic at the bus stop on Pilgrim Street - but it took a while for either to make the first move and strike up a conversation.
The pair eventually started chatting on Number 11 bus and soon fell for each other, with Dominic taking inspiration from their first meeting for his proposal. After five-and-a-half years, he returned to the bus stop to decorate it with lights, candles and a giant Christmas wreath before popping the big question.
Lothian buses shared an adorable snap of the happy couple just after Hannah said 'yes', with the post having since garnered over 5,000 likes and 500 comments.
