A car park space in Edinburgh has gone on sale for a whopping £80,000 - double the price of a two-bedroom flat. The underground space is at McEwan Square in the plush Fountainbridge area, near the city's West End.
But just three miles away in Leith there is a two-bedroom ground floor flat on the market for £45,000 - which comes with its own private parking space. A two-bed flat in Paisley also costs less than the parking space, for sale at just £75,000.
Despite the enormous price tag, sellers Murray & Currie said the space was in an 'ideal location'.
