A car has flipped onto its roof following a collision on a Edinburgh suburb road on Saturday evening.
Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene at Stenhouse Drive shortly after 5pm after a white car was left on its roof following a smash.
Pictures from the scene show the terrifying outcome of the incident, with the road blocked while emergency services attend to the driver and remove the smashed vehicle.

The incident occurred just outside the Tesco Express on the busy road on the outskirts of the city centre, although it is not clear what caused the incident or if there are any injuries.
The image also shows a heavy dent in a silver Mercedes parked next to the car which also appears to have been involved in the smash.
One eye witness said to avoid the road until it is cleared as traffic was building. Ambulance crews attending the scene had parked blocking off one lane of traffic, with police arriving a short while later to divert motorists.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a one vehicle crash on Stenhouse Drive, Edinburgh at around 3.05pm on Saturday, 3 September, 2022.
“Emergency services attended but there was no requirement for hospital treatment.
“A 23-year-old woman will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with a road traffic offence."
