An Edinburgh binman is set to appear on the next series of SAS: Who Dares Wins, and has described the hell he endured throughout the programme.
Adrenaline chaser Grant, 37, is one of the 20 contestants who applied for the popular television show, in order to prove their mental strength in one of the most difficult selection processes worldwide.
Grant has worked in a variety of different industries across his career, working on cruise ships and hotels across Europe as a fitness instructor - before eventually settling on waste disposal in the capital.

The local bin man revealed that he found himself in a "cycle of shame" after being diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 35. He noted that he joined the punishing TV programme to prove to himself that he could overcome difficult situations in a challenging environment.
Grant will be on Channel 4 next week as he takes on the Vietnam jungle alongside the 19 other contestants in what is described as a reality quasi-military training TV show.
The popular show pits contestants against harsh environments all around the world during two-weeks of training, designed to replicate a number of elements of the actual United Kingdom Special Forces selection course.
This selection process is a notoriously difficult programme that has even claimed the lives.
The show's directing staff take the recruits through hostile and unforgiving warfare environments, while testing their mental and physical ability through a series of tests.
Grant has described this show as his dream challenge - but it soon turned into a nightmare after he realised the size of the task at hand.
The waste worker, who lives with his fiancé and two dogs, spoke to the Scottish Sun about the hellish environment he endured. Grant explained: "As person with ADHD, diagnosed at 35 years old, I now realise why I found myself in a cycle of shame.
“Shame for things I have said, or maybe done before reading the room the way a neurotypical person might.
“Or shame simply from a childhood drama that still haunts me today. I wanted to demonstrate to myself that a number of difficulties I faced could be overcome in an incredibly unnerving and physically challenging environment."
SAS: Who Dares Wins – Jungle Hell is coming to Channel 4 on Monday January 23 at 9pm.
