An unhappy diner has lashed out at an Edinburgh eatery after being asked to fill out a ‘long winded questionnaire’ for a couple of coffees.
A customer took to Trip Advisor to express his dismay at the process he had to carry out before being handed his café lattes at All Bar One at Edinburgh Airport.
The review took place at the beginning of March and saw them complain about having to provide their email address in order to complete their order.

Often in airports there are added hoops for customers to jump through by providing data or scanning boarding cards when buying items that can feel like a right faff.
But this issue irked the customer so much so that they left a one star rating on the reviewing site that said his experience was ‘insulting.’
They said in early March: “Do we really need an extensive, laborious and long winded questionnaire? Do we really need to provide an email address (mandatory field) to order a couple of coffees?
“Please, please get a grip and treat customers as human being, and not as meat on a seat. This is insulting.
“How about "two café lattes please, both double shot", and it arrives at the table.
“What's difficult about that?”
The general manager at All Bar One responded to the concerns and apologised for the experience of the customer whilst attempting to offer an understanding for any future visit.
They said: “Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit.
“We have the QR code in our bar area to help make it easier for the guest when we are short staffed and I'm sorry you didn't find this to be the case on your visit, our staff are more then happy to help if you prefer to order with them or if the QR is not working.
“We will use your feedback to improve our efforts and hope you will give us another chance in the future.”
All Bar One has an extremely high rating on Trip Advisor with it being placed at 84 out of 1,650 restaurants in the capital.
The vast majority of the reviews that have been left are excellent on the site with only a small amount found to be negative.
One customer wrote: “Great food and drinks!! Great service as well! It’s difficult to find good food at the airports!! Best airport restaurant plus food ever!!”
Whilst another added: “My go to place before my flight, amazing cocktails, lovely service and great food. Nothing is ever too much hassle, will be back again.”
