The highly anticipated sequel to the 2014 sci-fi action film, Edge of Tomorrow, is inching closer to becoming a reality as discussions are reportedly underway. According to sources, Warner Bros. is keen on having Tom Cruise reprise his role as William Cage in Edge of Tomorrow 2, continuing the story of humanity's battle against the alien race known as Mimics.
There are talks of potentially having acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino collaborate with Cruise on this project, as Tarantino gears up for his final movie, The Movie Critic. While the project currently lacks a distributor, Warner Bros. and other studios are vying for the opportunity to work with Tarantino on his last film.
