Furious households across the UK have been unable to submit meter readings to EDF, British Gas, SEE and more as the energy companies face technical issues.

Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has been urging members of the public to take photographs of their pre-payment meters by Thursday, March 31, and to submit the readings to their suppliers in order to save money before the price hike tomorrow.

But members of the public have reported being unable to submit their latest figures this morning with various energy company websites ‘crashing’.
