Arsenal travel to Vicarage Road on Sunday afternoon to battle it out against Watford in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta's men are in a solid run of form, clinching 22 points from their last nine league outings as they now sit just two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with three games in hand on the Red Devils.
The Gunners recorded a dramatic last-gasp victory last time out, defeating Wolves 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium ten days ago - a win that gave Arteta and Co a huge boost in their pursuit of qualifying for next season's UEFA Champions League.
They will be hoping to continue in that vein of form against the Hornets, who held United to a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford last weekend as they now sit three points behind 17th-placed Everton ahead of a scrappy relegation fight.
Ahead of the highly-anticipated clash, supporters have been speculating who they reckon will be in Arteta's starting line-up, with the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Nicolas Pepe looking to displace one of the forwards that started in the aforementioned win against Wolves last month.
Hale End academy graduate Eddie Nketiah may have even dropped a hint that Smith Rowe will be starting against Roy Hodgson's side, with the centre-forward transferring his compatriot into his Fantasy Premier League team (FPL), according to Twitter user: @insider_fpl.
The account also claimed that Nketiah opted to transfer out Alexandre Lacazette, who has started in each of the north Londoners' last ten league outings.
It is entirely possible that the young forward's FPL activity has nothing to do with Arsenal's starting line-up for the match against Watford but it could potentially hint at Smith Rowe or Gabriel Martinelli starting centrally ahead of Lacazette, something that Arteta himself has previously spoken about.
“It depends on the role you want them to play and the role you want from the nine", the Spaniard explained when asked if either youngster could be deployed as a frontman.
“They have very different qualities, they would change our structure and the spaces that we would attack, the positions that would threaten, how they fix the opponent in certain areas.
“It would depend on the behaviour of the opposition as well, to understand which context would benefit both of them.
“They have changed quite a lot of positions as well and we have to be careful sometimes with how much we change them. But the moment they are ready, it is another opportunity to use them as well in the future.”
