Eddie Murphy is a married man!
The actor wed his long-time partner Paige Butcher in an intimate ceremony on Tuesday, July 9. The couple hosted their nuptials in Anguilla in a small ceremony attended by just family and close friends.
People magazine shared the first photos of the couple dressed in white for the big day. For the special occasion, Paige wore a stunning lace gown by Mira Zwillinger, while Eddie donned a white Brioni suit.
The couple, who have been together for 12 years, got engaged in September 2018. They welcomed their first child, Izzy Oona, in 2016 and their second child, Max Charles in 2018, shortly after getting engaged.
This marriage marks Eddie's second, following his previous marriage to Nicole Murphy, which lasted from 1993 to 2006. The former couple finalized their divorce in 2006.
The 'Shrek' voice actor has eight other children from prior relationships.
On the work front, DreamWorks Animation officially announced that the fifth instalment of their hit movie franchise 'Shrek' is in the works. The movie will be released in July 2026. Eddie also confirmed that his character Donkey will get his own spinoff.
