Eddie Howe says he told his Newcastle United players to stay calm in the aftermath of the 2-0 home defeat to Arsenal - knowing that the Magpies are within touching distance of the Champions League.
Howe and his players did not overreact last Sunday but now travel to Elland Road for a tough encounter against the relegation-haunted Yorkshire side. But Howe is simply looking for a repeat of the performance levels against the Gunners.
Howe said: "We've analysed the Arsenal game and there was a lot of good. It was very close to being a really good performance I felt - the ability to take our chances really was what was missing on the day, otherwise that could have been a similar performance to Manchester United at home and the other really good games we've had at home in recent weeks.
