Ed Sheeran will soon sing Take Me Back to London with every intention of staying there.
The singer is planning a five year residency in one UK venue so he can spend more time with his family, based in Suffolk.
First though, Ed, who has 18-month-old daughter Lyra Antarctica with wife Cherry Seaborn, will be taking his family with him when he tours Australia next year.
“I don’t think I’d tour if they couldn’t join me,” Ed says. “I don’t want to miss milestones.
“I saw her first steps and heard her first words. And she’s quite portable...”
But after that, he plans to keep the family unit in one place. “I’d love to book out a theatre in London and say: ‘I’m playing here three times a week for the next five years.’”
But for anyone still scarred from buying tickets to Adele’s Las Vegas residency, which is yet to be rescheduled, Ed has no plans to head to Sin City for his.
“Every time I play Vegas, it’s like you’re the warmup to their night,” he says. “It’s just people heading to a club later.
“Nobody listens, they’re just there to get p*ssed.”
Get p*ssed by all means, but at least make sure Ed’s the main event.

Lorraine Kelly
Lorraine Kelly has turned down Strictly Come Dancing several times, but admits she was intrigued enough about the prospect to ask pal Anton Du Beke to show her a few fancy footsteps.
The pair attempted some basic moves during an ad break when she interviewed him, but his assessment of her dancing capabilities doesn’t look likely to lure her on to the show....
“He said it’s like dancing with a tree,” says the ITV presenter.
Surely because she was standing so gracefully tall.
Kristen Stewart
It’s quite something to be able to boast having Princess Diana’s wardrobe.
Spencer star Kristen Stewart got to keep all the clothes from the set, where she played the late princess.
Kristen was gifted “all of the clothes” she wore for the film.
“I have almost every piece of wardrobe that I wore in the movie,” she says, proudly.
