Superstar singer Ed Sheeran and wife Cherry Seaborn have reached for the stars for inspiration when naming their second child. They have called their newborn daughter Jupiter, according to the Sun.
Sheeran, 31, became a dad for the second time in May. The quirky name is thought to have special meaning for him and Cherry, 30.
In recent years, the name Jupiter has become more and more popular with parents, with it said to represent the "brave and bold". A source told the Sun said: "Ed and Cherry loved the name both in terms of what it stands for and its uniqueness. Everyone thinks Jupiter works perfectly for her.

"Behind closed doors Cherry has been gushing over becoming a mum again. She and Ed really are a match made in heaven. Their family is beautiful."
When he announced the birth of his daughter, Sheeran said: "I want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to now be a family of four."
His first child was Lyra, was born in August 2020, penning the song 'Welcome to the World' about the experience of becoming a dad. He sings: "Welcome to the world/I heard your heartbeat and lost every word. Just stood there quietly taking in the sound/Of our love."
The track ends with an intimate recording of Sheeran and Cherry feeling her kick. Sheeran says: "You got the kick? Has it actually?"
Cherry replies sweetly: "Yeah. Have you woken up?"
