KOLKATA: Fifty-eight days after arresting former education minister Partha Chatterjee and his aide Arpita Mukherjee, the Enforcement Directorate on Monday submitted its first charge sheet against the duo in the special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court in Kolkata, stating that it had attached properties worth Rs 103.1 crore of the accused.
The attachments include immovable property worth Rs 40.3 crore, 35 bank accounts with Rs 7.9 crore in deposits, cash seizure worth Rs 49.8 crore from two flats at Tollygunge and Belgharia and jewellery estimated at Rs 5 crore.
