Ecstatic dad bursts into son's room mistakenly thinking he's won lottery

An ecstatic dad burst through his son's bedroom door claiming he had won £75,000 on the lottery - only to then realise he'd made a mistake.

CCTV footage taken inside Michael Mirelez’s home in Arlington, Texas shows the moment the dad started jumping in joy as he held the winning ticket in his hand.

He started shouting: "Nico, Nico I've won a hundred thousand dollars.

"I won a hundred thousand dollars.

"I won a hundred thousand dollars."

His son Nicholas Mirelez - Nico for short - jumped out of his bed and hugged his father.

Nico could be heard saying: "Don't tell nobody."
