Economic Concerns Undercut Crude Prices

Oil Nymex United States China Natural Gas

May WTI crude oil (CLK23) this morning is down -1.58 (-2.26%), and May RBOB gasoline (RBJ23) is down -3.32 (-1.29%).  April Nymex natural gas (NGJ23) is up +0.046 (+2.14%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices this morning are sharply lower due to ongoing concerns that the banking turmoil could push the global economy into a recession, undercutting energy demand.  Also, strength today is negative for energy prices.
