If you’re mourning the end of summer and need something to look forward to, perhaps planning your 2025 holiday will put a spring in your step.
easyJet is promoting its flights for the next holiday season at some temptingly low prices.
The sale is now on for flights into July and August 2025, covering locations across Europe, from Amsterdam to Ljubljana.
Read on for all the details about the easyJet sale and a need-to-know warning from Martin Lewis.
What time do 2025 easyJet flights go on sale?
easyJet’s sale went live at 6am on Monday, September 2 and doesn’t have a specific end date or time.
The flight company also hasn’t confirmed how many seats are available. However, previous sales saw around 18 million seats on sale.
The company encourages holidaymakers to book early, highlighting that the best fares can be found earlier on in the sale.
"We encourage customers to book early to get the best fares,” easyJet said. “Fares are demand-driven so they start low and rise as more seats on the aircraft are booked."
What are some of the best deals?
Even one day on from the start of the sale, there are still deals as low as £35.99 to fly from London Gatwick to Murcia, Ljubljana, Amsterdam, Bordeaux, and Paris.
£38.99 will also get you to Malaga, Alicante, Faro, Innsbruck, and Gibraltar.
Luton also has offers of £35.99 for flights to Prague, Sicily, and Crete, as well as travel to Pula, Reus, Pisa, and Ibiza for £38.99.
Why is Martin Lewis giving a warning?
Money Saving Expert’s Martin Lewis has issued a warning for savvy holidaymakers to research the routes and destinations they want to visit in advance.
"This has been a very successful technique for many people and indeed, if you want certainty of a cheap price, it's worth doing,” he said. “Do benchmark what a good price on that route is beforehand, just so you can check if it's worth it.
“Though of course, if later on a particular flight is very substantially under-booked, you could get seats even cheaper; then that's just far more difficult to predict.”
And… who are the infamous ‘easyJet flight couple’?
All this talk of easyJet might remind you of a more infamous easyJet story: the flight couple.
A year ago, in September 2023, a couple was led away by police after apparently being caught having sex on board an easyJet flight.
A video of the incident went viral on social media, showing a crew member opening the door on the young couple in front of a number of passengers in the rear of the plane.
Bystanders were clapping and cheering him on to catch them in the act.
easyJet made a statement at the time: “We can confirm that this flight from Luton to Ibiza on 8 September was met by police on arrival due to the behaviour of two passengers onboard.”
It’s unknown whether any arrests were made in Ibiza, where the flight was headed.
