easyJet and British Airways have announced the cancellation of more than 300 combined flights, sparking Easter chaos for British holidayers.
Some 222 flights have so far been cancelled by easyJet alone since Saturday, including 62 on Monday April 4.
The majority of Monday's cancellations were made on Saturday, while British Airways has announced the cancellation of 115 flights to or from Heathrow Airport.
It is a particularly busy week for travel as most schools are off for Easter this week, but there are fears the situation could get worse during the Good Friday Bank Holiday on April 15
Huge queues were seen over the weekend and this has continued into Monday.
At Manchester Airport and Heathrow, people were subjected to four-hour queues, while others have been suffering long waits at the Port of Dover and a three-hour delay in the Eurotunnel due to a stuck train.

Persistently high Covid cases mean that flight crews remain understaffed, forcing airlines to cut some of their flights.
The UK government is no longer fully tracking the situation, but 69,811 cases were reported as recently as April 1.
The situation has seen chaos at Manchester Airport over recent days, with the Manchester Evening News reporting annoyed passengers abandoning their bags, people trying to jump over barriers and baggage handlers saying they are under "more stress than ever", due to the situation.
easyJet said: "As a result of the current high rates of Covid infections across Europe, like all businesses, easyJet is experiencing higher than usual levels of employee sickness.
"We have made 62 pre-emptive cancellations for flights to and from the UK for [Monday] which represents a small proportion of [Monday’s] total flying programme which was planned to be more than 1,645 flights. We cancelled the majority of these [on Saturday]."
British Airways took the decision to reduce its amount of flights, around 20 every day, until May this year.
Has my flight been cancelled?
Passengers should be told by the airline if their flight has been cancelled as most flights should be cancelled in advance, allowing passengers to try and claim a refund or reschedule their flight.
FlightAware, Flightstats, and Flight Radar each track most commercial flights to see if they have been cancelled and passengers who are unsure can check the websites to see if it has been changed.
The best way of checking if a flight has been cancelled is to contact the airline responsible. Most people are entitled to a refund or compensation if their flight was cancelled.
For cancelled flights, airlines are legally obliged to offer compensation for flights scrapped at short notice.
