EastEnders shared the behind-the-scenes footage of killer Gray Atkin's comeuppance during his final scenes.
The BBC One soap's serial killer (played by Toby Alexander-Smith) was able to evade justice for all the horrifying murders he has committed - including the death of Tina Carter, Kush Kazemi as well as wife Chantelle Atkins.
On Tuesday (March 10), viewers got to witness Whitney Dean and Mitch Baker prevent the murderer from killing himself.
They also got to watch as he was arrested and placed into a police car.
Thanks to Whitney's mission to expose his crimes, Gray's years of abuse, violence and murder ended this week.
One final showdown on the train platform saw Gray try to take his own life while Whitney prevented him from doing so by pulling up his arm.
Mitch quickly ran in to help her pull him up.
Police soon arrive to take the killer into custody, marking the end of his murderous patterns.
EastEnders ' official Instagram page shared a side-by-side clip of the scene as well as how they filmed it.
"Take a look behind the scenes at Gray’s comeuppance and how we filmed those epic final moments," they captioned the video.
For the scene, the actors run through a fake train platform. The trains are edited in after.
And when Gray is dangling off the edge, crew members stand on a platform lift to get close for filming.
The stars are hoisted up by wires to ensure they stay safe.
Finally, when Gray gets arrested and placed into the police car, the footage shows the cameramen walking backwards to get the perfect shot.

Viewers were amazed by the performance and took to the comment section to praise Toby.
One said: "Toby did a phenomenal performance, I will really miss him being in EE."
"They do their own stunts wow, defo need to win some TV awards," another impressed user added.
One user was baffled by the editing and said: "How do they hide the cameras and stuff them and class how they do all the stuff themselves no stuntmen."
Before the confrontation on the train platform, it was Shirley Carter, Tina's sister, who became embroiled in a deadly showdown with the killer.
As Gray ran into the pub amid a police search in the Square, Shirley came face-to-face with the man who killed her sibling and she lost control.
Her son Mick stopped her while she was attacking him.
But in comforting her and pulling her off Gray, the pair didn't see him getting off the floor and wielding a chair leg which he then whacked over Shirley's head.
She was seen unconscious with bandages wrapped around her head as she was wheeled into the back of the ambulance.
