Eastenders actress Louisa Lytton has revealed how she spent what should have been her wedding day cleaning carpets covered in sick at home.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star, 33, had been due to exchange wedding vows with fiance Ben Bhanvra in England on Saturday - ahead of their Italian wedding - but thanks to having a "covid household", was unable to become a legally married woman.
Prior to Saturday's setback, Louisa and Ben have previously had to postpone their wedding twice already - both times again due to covid related issues.
Taking to Instagram to give her fans a wedding update on Saturday night, the mum-of-one shared a snap of herself celebrating her hen do last week, while revealing the latest stumbling block in her journey to tie the knot.
"This time last week . ." Louisa began captioning the picture of herself lounging in a bridal shower decorated hotel bath.
"Since we have had a covid household. Finally on the mend . Not what the doctor ordered. We were supposed to be exchanging our vows today before our Italian Wedding! Instead we cleaned the carpets which were covered in sick."
She signed off on a positive note, tagging husband-to-be Ben and writing: "We will get there @bennnyy__ and my will it be worth it."
Louisa followed up on her original post over on her Instagram Stories - reassuring her followers that things sounded "more dramatic" than they actually are.
"That sounded more dramatic than it is," the actress began to explain.
"We are getting married in Italy but had to do our vows here [England]. Just to top off a week of covid and another postponed 'wedding' Riley decided to wee on my washing."
The Ruby Allen actress welcomed her first child into the world in last year - enduring a 'scary' three-day labour before giving birth to her daughter on 30 August.
Louisa had originally planned a water birth using hypnobirthing techniques but her painful labour didn't go to plan.
She "laboured at home for 14 hours before going in" to Barnet hospital, where her waters had to be broken.
Daughter Aura eventually arrived on 30 August, weighing 6lbs 5oz.
After becoming parents, Ben - who works in digital marketing - and Louisa decided to scale back their original wedding plans.
"We want to get married next year. We’re planning to have the wedding abroad and we’re going to do something smaller than we originally planned," Louisa told the Sunday Mirror in October.
"It will be different now she’s here. We’re a family now, so it might not be as wild as it was going to be. But we can’t wait to get married."
Explaining that their priorities have changed since Aura joined the family, the actress added: ""Everything we were going to put into the wedding we ended up buying a house with. And now I’ve had a baby, I’m not working, so it’s just changed our priorities."
