Former EastEnders actress Pam St Clement has made a very rare appearance on social media as she celebrates her 80th birthday. Pam played the iconic Pat Butcher in the London soap for over two decades, but is known for keeping her personal life extremely private.

The star quit the show back in 2012 and ever since then she has worked hard to keep herself out of the limelight. The photo that has been shared on Instagram this week is the first time she has been pictured in over two years.

The sweet snap, shared by EastEnders star Kellie Shirley, left fans delighted on her big birthday on May 11.
