EastEnders fans were horrified on Tuesday night, as Jean Slater continued to act out amid daughter Stacey's fears she is having a manic episode.
The character, who has bipolar disorder, has been acting out of character recently and making decisions that have concerned her family.
But things took a worrying turn in the latest episode of the BBC soap, when she took her young grandson Arthur, aged six, to the scene of his father Kush Kazemi's murder.
Jean told the little boy what really happened to his dad, who was pushed in front of a tube train by serial killer Gray Atkins a year ago.
Arthur seemed stunned as Jean asked him if he felt better now knowing the truth, with Stacey previously keeping the truth from him.
But as Jean's mental health battle continued to worsen, with her refusing help, Stacey was horrified when she realised her little one was missing.
After finding out Jean had snuck off with him and had headed to the tube station, a desperate Stacey raced there with ex Martin Fowler.
As she arrived, Arthur was stood on the edge of the tube platform, in the spot that his dad was standing before he was killed.
In that moment a tube was pulling into the station, causing Stacey to scream with a terrified Arthur moving out of the way before running to his stepdad Martin.
The fact that Jean had taken Arthur to the very spot his dad died left Stacey furious, so to learn she'd also told him what happened left her in an unforgiving mood.
She screamed at her mother knowing she wasn't well, having earlier revealed she did not feel her kids were safe around their grandmother in her current state.
Stacey wasn't the only one horrified by her latest actions though, with viewers as equally as mortified by what happened.
Taking to Twitter, viewers begged Jean to get help as they said she had gone "too far" with the "sick" confession.
One fan said: "JEAN DID NOT TAKE ARTHUR TO THE TUBE TO HAVE DINNER? The same tube where his dad died?! This Bi—-! She took him to… OMG! That was sick!"
Another tweeted: "Wow does bipolar really make people act as nasty as Jean!? I didn’t know that…Telling Arthur how his dad died and had him looking at the place his dad died. Just awful."
A third added: "So it looks like Jean's manic episode has caused her to go off the rails tonight. Lashing out at Stacey accusing her of being a bad mother and taking Arthur to the train track the same place where Kush had died. Jean went too far tonight."
