East Midlands Railway have told passengers to not travel to Nottingham station if they are heading to London. It comes after huge queues of Nottingham Forest fans waited outside the station for hours to get on trains heading to the capital.
The rail company say passengers going to London can travel to other stations with their existing ticket. EMR suggest using Derby, East Midlands Parkway or Kettering instead.
For passengers not travelling because of the Nottingham Forest v Huddersfield Town football final, they have been told their tickets will be valid for tomorrow instead.

There have also been disruptions in the region due to a tree blocking a line between Chesterfield and Derby. It means services on that line have been diverted which is also causing delays.
