East Lothian loverboy Jay Younger has been in the news for some right and wrong reasons since he first appeared on ITV2 dating programme, Love Island.
So far, the Musselburgh boy has bagged bombshell Ekin-Su, angered a few of the original boys, and chatted up a couple more of the girls to make up for it - no drama at all, right?
However, another reason Jay has stood out from the rest is his rather unique breakfasting options, which includes downing raw eggs in a cup for 'fitness reasons'.

It’s been revealed by his best friend and coach Blair Sangster that Jay eats 4,500 calories every day, with daily meals including Weetabix, salmon, potatoes, rice, and lots of vegetables.

Holland & Barrett nutritionist Alex Glover has actually advised against consuming raw eggs for protein, and has provided some healthy alternatives for those aiming for a Jay Younger physique.
Alex said: "The bioavailability of the protein in raw eggs is not as high as when the eggs are cooked, so when it comes to enhancing the effects of muscle protein synthesis for recovery, always cook your eggs.

“Raw eggs aren’t safe to eat if they’re unpasteurised, but the risk of salmonella is much lower in eggs that have been pasteurised.”
Other breakfasts that Alex suggests include high protein muesli with fruit, scrambled eggs and a layered yoghurt pot - much more appetising than a glass of the raw stuff.
Fitness coach and pal Blair Sangster revealed on his Instagram what Jay consumes on a daily basis when training outside the villa, saying: "I can confirm the six raw eggs EVERY morning is true.
“Well, five egg whites and one whole egg.
“He eats A LOT of food, easily 4500 plus calories every day.
“About eight to ten Weetabix for breakfast with protein powder, berries and full fat milk.
“Lunches and dinners along the lines of salmon with a of mountain potatoes or rice and a lot of veggies.
“And he loves a burger from a place called Bell’s Diner in Edinburgh.
“I’m pretty sure he went there every Saturday for about 12 weeks in a row.”
Blair also thinks Jay has the stamina to last all the way to the end of the show, adding: "When it comes to relationships, I'd say Jay is an absolute catch.
"He's got a strong moral compass.
"The effort that gets put into the gym is equalled by what he does for his relationships.
"I've never known Jay to need a wingman.
"He's a confident lad and a gentleman and I'm sure he'll be that way in the villa.
"I don't know anyone that doesn't like Jay.
"I think he'll try to play it cool but also do his best to make a connection with someone that he likes."
Love Island resumes on Tuesday, June 21 at 9pm on ITV2.
