ICE to spend $20M on gloves designed to deliver painful electric shocks

Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel may soon be equipped with specialized gloves that deliver painful electric shocks.

ICE aims to spend up to $20 million to buy thousands of the "conductive distraction and de-escalation devices" for officers and agents by March, according to a notice published Monday by the Department of Homeland Security.
