East London homes left without water for almost a week after main bursts

Residents in east London have been without running water for a week due to a burst water main.

On Friday January 2, people living in the Frampton Park Estate in Hackney reported that their running water including hot water had stopped working. Many people said they were unable to flush the toilet, shower or use their washing machine.
