A Tower Hamlets councillor who planned to stand in Bangladesh’s forthcoming general election has now said he won’t be a candidate.
Independent councillor Ohid Ahmed told the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) that residents in his council ward are his “first priority”.
