Kevin Rutkiewicz hopes to get two pre-season games played on East Kilbride’s new artificial surface, but doesn’t know if it will be ready on time.
The Lowland League club currently have away fixtures against Forth Wanderers, Celtic XI and Gartcairn over the next three weekends.
But the gaffer would like to get more games played, both to step up fitness and let his squad get a feel of the new pitch.
He said: “We’ve got three games lined up so far and we are holding out, in the hope that our park will be finished on time, so that we can get a couple of home games on the new surface.
“I think it would be important to do that, but we just don’t know when it’s going to be finished.
“We might have fallen two or three days behind, which isn’t going to hurt us, but we’re just waiting to see if we can get those games organised later.
“I’m speaking to different managers and there are tentative games lined up later on, beyond the three that we’ve got, but we’re just waiting on confirmation of the park.
“We’ve got Forth this Saturday, Celtic, then Gartcairn and then after that it’s TBC.”
