A man who was "off his head" on drugs was Tasered by police after producing an imitation gun in front of an officer.
Christian Ridley was spotted in the street by members of the public holding what appeared to be a handgun on June 28 this year. The 45-year-old, who had taken "very strong amphetamines", was seen pointing the gun at an electrical box before police were contacted.
But when an officer approached him, Ridley produced the realistic looking gun and "raised" it towards the officer, who resorted to Tasering him. Two fake firearms and ammunition was found in his possession when searched.
