Eamonn Holmes appears to take fresh swipe in Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby 'feud'

Eamonn Holmes appears to have taken a fresh swipe amid his outspoken views on the Phillip Schofield scandal. The GB News host hasn't been holding back on his views of his former colleague, with Eamonn previously criticising the 'lies' which Phillip had admitted to.

But Eamonn, who's also aired his thoughts on Holly Willoughby, has since returned to social media with a post in which he asked followers to vote for his TV breakfast show to receive an award, reports the MEN.

The image revealed he and Isabel had been nominated for a National Reality TV Award for Best News Programme. The 63-year-old kicked off his post by writing in the caption: "Let’s face it… it doesn’t get more real than us!" He then added: "Your support for Isabel and me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance... Vote via the website if u can."

But his choice of words didn't go down too well with everyone as one follower replied: "I’m really disappointed too in the recent behaviour and unnecessary comments. Contributing to the persecution of another person, I Don’t feel a vote is really deserved at the minute. Shame for Isabelle though."

However, Eamonn didn't seem to agree as he popped back: "Sue, I'm sorry u have difficulty in understanding who was persecuted." But he appeared not to address any more of the negative comments as he continued to respond to other comments including one from Tonia Buxton which read: "Team Eamonn & Isabel all the way."
