Eagles land Nolan Smith and Jahmyr Gibbs in Daniel Jeremiah’s final mock draft

We’re now less than 24 hours away from the Carolina Panthers potentially selecting Alabama All-American quarterback Bryce Young at No. 1 overall in the NFL draft.

Philadelphia will be on the clock some nine picks later, and the rumors have centered around Bijan Robinson, Jalen Carter, and Paris Johnson.

Daniel Jeremiah released his final mock draft on Wednesday and has Philadelphia landing two All-SEC performers.

Philadelphia has been linked to Jalen Carter and Paris Johnson, but Jeremiah has Howie Roseman landing a former Georgia pass rusher.

The Eagles invested in Georgia defenders last year, drafting Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean. They come back for another former Bulldog in Smith.

The former Alabama running back is ahead of Bijan Robinson on some boards and would be a Grade A pick if he’s on the board with pick 30.

I haven’t given up on my dream of Philadelphia taking Bijan Robinson if he’s available at No. 10, but this is not a bad consolation prize. Gibbs has been gaining a lot of steam late in the process, and I’ll be surprised if he’s not a first-round pick.
