Last November, Country rock legends Eagles announced the "final" four shows to their current residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. And now, due to "overwhelming demand," another two dates have been added, extending the band's run at the revolutionary venue into April.
The band, who completed their first performances at the venue in September 2024, will now play a total of 58 shows over 29 weekends, with the final Sphere shows scheduled for April 10 and 11. Full dates below.
At the end of the run, the band will have played to more than a million fans at the venue and completed the longest Sphere residency, comprehensively breaking the record currently held by Dead & Company, who played 48 shows between May 2024 and May last year.
According to the promoters, the shows will "offer fans the ultimate connection to the band’s legendary catalogue in an immersive experience that only Sphere can provide."
Ticket prices at the 20,000-capacity venue start at $175. The general sale for the new seats gets underway on Tuesday, February 17, at 10am. Registration for early access to tickets is open at the Eagles website.
Also available are "Experience & Hotel" and "VIP Experience & Hotel" packages. The latter retails at $1451 and includes a choice of premium seat at Sphere, with guaranteed full view of the screen and priority access into the venue, a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort hotel, airport transfers, a VIP fan experience, commemorative Eagles keepsakes and a souvenir Eagles laminate and lanyard.
Meanwhile, Eagles drummer Don Henley has hinted that this year may be the band's last, telling CBS Sunday Morning that 2026 “will probably be it” for the group. “Three of us are 78 years old now, including yours truly," he said. "We all have various ailments."
Sphere was opened in 2023 by U2, who played 40 shows at the revolutionary venue. Since then, Phish (four shows), Dead & Company, country star Kenny Chesney (15), vocal group Backstreet Boys (35) and The Zac Brown Band (6) have completed residencies.
Phish will return to the venue for nine dates in April, No Doubt have confirmed an 18-date residency for May, and Kenny Chesney will be back for 11 shows in June and July. Other bands rumoured to be in talks with Sphere include Guns N' Roses, Queen + Adam Lambert and Metallica.
The next Eagles show at Sphere is on February 20.
