With all the issues the Tennessee Titans have had at wide receiver this season, it makes the draft-night trade of A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles even more difficult for fans to stomach.
And those issues reared their ugly head on Sunday night against the Chiefs, as Titans receivers couldn’t get open and dropped a few big passes from rookie quarterback Malik Willis.
With all this going on, Brown, who has outproduced Titans receivers by himself this season, took to social media to troll the team over its wide receiver issues.
“Ain’t nobody open,” Brown tweeted during the game against the Chiefs, complete with crying emojis.
We’ve included a screenshot of the tweet because A.J. tends to delete tweets that are any semblance of controversial. You can check out the tweet right here, if it’s still up.
Brown has 718 yards and six touchdowns in his first eight games with the Eagles, both higher marks than Tennessee’s receivers have combined.
In fact, Brown scored more touchdowns in the first half of the Week 8 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers than Titans receivers have tallied this season.
With everything that has transpired between Brown and the Titans since April, it only adds more intrigue and juice to the Titans’ and Eagles’ Week 13 matchup in Philly.
