51-year-old Rajesh, originally from Haryana, was retired from the army. Rajesh, who was a former NSG commando, was currently working as a PSO of an industrialist in Delhi. He was living in Deoli village with his wife Komal and daughter Kavita and son Arjun. The unruly son Arjun killed the entire family to take revenge on his father and sister.
He was not interested in study
Arjun was a boxing player. He paid less attention to studies and more attention to sports, for which his father used to rebuke him. Arjun was always angry with his father for this. Recently his anger reached the seventh sky when his father beat him in front of everyone. Apart from this, he also felt that his parents loved his sister Kavita more. It was deeply embedded in his mind that his father would transfer all the property to his sister. In the fire of hatred for his father and jealousy for his sister, he had planned to kill all three of them.
He plans murders
Arjun did not commit this crime suddenly but had been planning it for several days. He had hidden a sharp knife that belonged to his father who was retired from the army and kept it with him. Apart from this, he had fixed the date of 4 December for the crime. This day was his parents' wedding anniversary. He planned to kill them on this special occasion and then executed it.
On Wednesday morning, Arjun allegedly killed all three of them one by one as per the plan. First, he reportedly slit the throat of his sister who was sleeping on the ground floor. Then he went upstairs where his father was sleeping. He allegedly first slit his father's throat and then stabbed him in the head several times. During this time, his mother was in the bathroom. As soon as she came out, Arjun also allegedly stabbed her in the throat too. After committing all three murders, he went out for a walk. He kept walking for about an hour and then after returning from there, he started giving a different color to the crime.
Delhi Police South Range Joint CP S.K. Jain said that there were no signs of theft or break-in at the crime scene and the bodies were found on the bed. This clearly shows that this was not a case of robbery or burglary. Then, the police questioned him. Slowly, contradictions started appearing in his statements. Finally, he reportedly confessed to killing his father, mother and sister. Arjun did not have good relations with his father and family.
