US actor Dylan Sprouse and his wife, Hungarian model Barbara Palvin, have announced the arrival of their first child together.
The couple shared the news in their own unique way on Instagram with a photograph showing them watching baseball alongside their newborn baby, with everyone wearing Los Angeles Dodgers shirts.
The post was captioned: "We took Labor Day literally this year."
In a separate post on his Instagram story, Sprouse added: "Lineage extended."
A story post on Palvin’s account featured Sprouse cradling the baby, with the caption: "Daddy’s girl already."
The pair, who married in 2023, revealed the pregnancy at May's Cannes Film Festival, sharing pictures of Sprouse touching the Hungarian model’s stomach at the event, followed by an image of the baby's sonogram.
Famous friends sending online congratulations included Sprouse’s former co-star Brenda Song, who posted "congrats", and Riverdale actor Camila Mendes, who posted "omg congrats".
They were also congratulated by Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player Miguel Rojas, who said: "Congrats, a new Dodgers fan."
Sprouse, 33, is best known for his role in Disney Channel series The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody alongside twin Cole Sprouse and actresses Ashley Tisdale and Brenda Song.
The pair achieved fame playing identical twin brothers Zack and Cody as they caused havoc while living at the luxury Boston hotel The Tipton.
Palvin, 32, is best known for being a Victoria’s Secret Angel and for her work modelling for the lingerie brand.
Sprouse has previously shown public support for his wife’s work, famously arriving at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024 pink carpet with two cardboard cutouts of their pets in hand.
Ahead of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which aired on Prime Video, the former Disney Channel star brought a piece of home with him as his wife prepared for the runway. Sprouse, 32, posed for the cameras in an all-black suit with one cutout of his and Palvin’s French bulldog, as well as one of their cat.
Sprouse revealed the reasoning behind the cutouts, saying he thought the furry faces would make her smile.
“I’m not really good at arts and crafts, but I did print some signs of our children,” Sprouse confessed to Olivia Culpo outside the star-studded affair in Brooklyn, New York.
