Dylan Levitt's first Hibs words as he gives insight into transfer, Lee Johnson talks and his style

Dylan Levitt has spoken as a Hibs player for the first time as he opened up on his transfer.

Lee Johnson swooped to bring in the Wales international from Dundee United as he bolsters his midfield options and his ranks overall for the campaign ahead. The Hibees are heading out to a training camp in Marbella as they continue preparations ahead of the Europa Conference League qualifiers and the big Scottish Premiership kick-off.

Levitt will be part of that trip after getting his deal over the line in time as he revealed his reasons behind making the move to Easter Road and gave an insight into the timeline to make the move happen. He's also told fans what they can expect to see from him after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.

Speaking to Hibs TV, he said: "Massive club, massive fan base. Delighted to get the deal over the line and kick on for the season.

"I think the way the manager spoke about the style of play. Massive crowd and following home and away. Stadium, outstanding facilities and I want to get back in the Wales squad as well and that gives me a platform to kick on.

"Talks started about a week or so ago. He made it very clear how he wants to play. He wants to have a lot of the ball and that suits me down to a tee. Big games this season and Europe as well which is a massive bonus.

"Being involved in big games is what every footballer wants. Especially Europe. That gives you a platform to get confidence going into the domestic season. I think the Edinburgh derby is massive. I have seen it on TV and can't wait to be involved in one of them.

On what fans can expect from him, he added: "I like to get on the ball. Confident playing forward passes. Try to dictate play and get on the ball as much as possible and try help the team get up the field and then goals and assists however they come."
