The DWP has said that it will be informing benefit claimaints prior to their Cost of Living Payments being made this spring.
A £900 Cost of Living Payment will be paid to those on means tested benefits in three installments this year with the first £301 payment taking place this Spring, although the DWP is yet to announce the dates of when this will take place.
In order to plan ahead with their finances, claimants have been wanting to know when the specific date of these payments will be, with the Department for Work and Pensions saying that they will be informed prior to the payments taking place.
