DWP cost of living payments including Universal Credit, DLA, PIP, ESA and Pension Credit could add up to £1,350

Cost of living payments could mean recipients could get up to £1,350 depending on different circumstances. Five different payments are being given out by the Department for Work and Pension (DWP) in the 2023/2024 financial year and some people could get more than one.

More than eight million UK households on means-tested benefits are set to receive £900 paid out in three separate instalments over the coming months, as reported by Lancs Live. Meanwhile, six million people will also get a separate £150 cash boost while there will be an extra £300 boost to the Winter Fuel Payment.

However, some may qualify for more than one of these amounts and the DWP says this means "the most vulnerable can receive up to £1,350 in direct payments." Depending on your eligibility, you could get extra payments on top of what you may have been expecting.
