The Phoenix Suns are the best team in the NBA by far right now and it’s not even close at this point — quite literally. They’re a full 8.5 games ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies for first in the Western Conference.
They’re a well-oiled machine with very obvious plans of winning a championship this year. But you know what they say about the best-laid plans — they’re made to get ruined.
So who could possibly get in the Suns’ way this season in the West? It might be Memphis. Despite all their injury woes, it might be Golden State. It’s a very long, long shot, but it could be the Clippers if Kawhi Leonard comes back healthy.
