Dundee announced on Wednesday afternoon that a pitch inspection would take place at 2.30pm due to the substantial rainfall.
And now the match has been postponed until a later date for a second time after the officials deemed the pitch unplayable.
The two sides were due to face on Wednesday night as Dundee look to climb the table under Mark McGhee.
