A pensioner has been rushed to hospital in Dundee after being struck by a high-performance car.
The 87-year-old was hit by the Jaguar F Pace in Broughty Ferry.
Police have urged witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
The incident happened at the junction of Lawrence Street and Brook Street between 9am and 10am on Friday, 18 March.
The driver of the £40,000 vehicle stopped to assists the elderly victim at the roadside.
She was stabilised by paramedics at the scene close to the M&S Foodhall before being rushed to Ninewells Hospital where she has been left ‘immobilised.’
Police Constable Richard Sturrock told Dundee Live: “The 87-year-old pedestrian has been left immobilised and it is important we find out the circumstances which led to the incident.
“I would appeal for anyone who saw what happened or who has dash-cam footage of the area at that time to contact officers.
“Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting reference 1640 of 21 March, 2022.”
