Dundee SNP Councillors will look to invest additional funding into communities to support the cost of living crisis at a meeting next week.
Nearly £250k could be allocated to balance the impact of rising energy cost, helping those with the most need.
Working closely with the DWP & Scottish Government, funding could support a "Pathfinder Project" to help parents into work where barriers currently exist.
Working jointly with the Joseph Rowntree Foundation councillors could also decide on the continuation of the Dundee Fairness Leadership Panel.
The go ahead may also be given to directly support a local Substainable Food Initiative.
Councillor Lynne Short, Dundee City Council Spokesperson said today: “Dundee SNP are very aware of the impact of the cost of living crisis, and will always put people before parties and profits for pals unlike the Westminster government.”
