Duncan James reckons his daughter is more impressed with his gig on Gogglebox than his Blue fame.
The 44-year-old is reuniting with the band for their 20 year anniversary as Lee Ryan, 39, Simon Webbe, 43 and Anthony Costa, 41 rise again.
Blue fans can't wait to see the noughties chart toppers in action, but Tianie, 17, is apparently more interested in her dad's Channel 4 outing.
Duncan joins Denise Van Outen on the Celebrity Gogglebox sofa after she split with her ex Eddie Boxhall.
The pair have hit the ground running on the much-loved show and Duncan says teen Tianie was delighted when she found out he'd got the job.
"My daughter’s 17, so she’s a bit too young to remember Blue the first time around," he told OK!
"When I told her I was going on Celebrity Gogglebox she found that more impressive. She was like, 'Oh my God, that’s amazing!'"
Duncan pops round to Denise's to film the show and say the pals are having a "great" time, full of banter.
Their hi-jinx are certainly impressing Tianie, who Duncan shares with former girlfriend Claire Grainger.
The star came out in 2017 after years of "living a lie", admitting he couldn't fully enjoy his time in Blue because of his sexuality.
The singer appeared on Loose Women last year alongside his Brazilian boyfriend, Rodrigo Reis, where they spoke about their relationship.
He told the panel: "For me it was a really hard thing to do to come out, coming from a boyband, a world where you have a lot of female fans.
"There was a lot of pressure from the record company, I didn't want to let the boys down so I kept my mouth shut."
Speaking previously to OK!, he revealed: "I couldn't enjoy it the first time around because I was closeted and I was living in fear everyday of being outed in a newspaper story."
However the star is now free to be who he wants and can enjoy releasing Blue's seventh studio album, Heart & Soul as well as heading out on their 20th anniversary tour.
Celebrity Gogglebox is on Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm
