Duncan James has said Blue are "quite a superstitious band," with him revealing that there's a ritual they do before every show - ahead of their 20th anniversary tour.
The singer, 44, will be reuniting with his bandmates Simon Webbe, 43, Antony Costa, 41, and Lee Ryan, 39, for the Heart & Soul tour later this year, to celebrate the occasion.
The band - whose debut single All Rise was released in 2001 - had originally been due to embark on their anniversary tour last year, though it was postponed due to Covid-19.
Ahead of them touring the UK later this year, Duncan has opened up about the ritual the band have before "every single gig" - with him teasing that they're "superstitious."
He revealed: "We're quite a superstitious band, really. We always have to do a '1234' with our hands in the middle. We do this weird little luck-y thing each other – '1234 Blue'.
"It's like a weird ritual that we've always done. I don't know why. [...] In fact we always do it, so there's not a question [of] if we don't do it. We always do it before every single gig."
And discussing warming up in their dressing rooms, he said: "We don't have any alcohol anymore. It's more about Manuka Honey or honey and lemon, ginger, hot water."

He said: "We've started to look after our voices a lot more. When you're doing a big live show and you're singing live for a couple of hours every night and you're doing it over a concession of nights, you've got to really look after your voice."
"Back in the day, I don't know how we did it because we used to go out and party all the time, then get back on that stage and do it. But I guess we were in our 20s weren't we?"
Duncan added that with the bandmates now in their 40s, they wouldn't act in the same way. He commented: "You can't do that. You've got to really look after yourself."
And with it joked that Blue had "swapped vodka shots for ginger shots," Duncan responded to us: "Exactly! And you still get a buzz off the ginger shots, so it's all good."
Duncan has teamed up with Mini Cheddars and Steps' member Claire Richards, 44, to offer one lucky couple the chance to have them perform at their wedding.
To enter, couples need to share a picture or video with their partner on Instagram explaining why they should win and tag @minicheddarsuk and using the hashtag #MiniCheddarsWedding. Entries should be received by Friday 19 August.
