The Dun Laoghaire Coast Guard is recruiting volunteers to join their team.
The rescue service is looking for candidates with flexible schedules to attend incidents anytime in the day or night. The ideal applicants will be able to "work well in a team environment and have a positive attitude".
To volunteer for an Irish Coast Guard unit, you must generally live within 10 minutes of the Station House. The application deadline for the unpaid role is August 24.
